32 Buddhas
According to Buddhist mythology, there are 32 distinguishing characteristics of a Buddha. At the time I came across this story, I had amassed hundreds of pictures of dogs from a dog-a-day calendar. I selected those images that most closely illustrated each of the distinguishing features, because aren’t dogs Buddhas, too?
